The Husqvarna company was founded in 1689 in Sweden. The story goes that the first factory of the company specialized in the production of weapons.
1872 marked the beginning of the production of sewing machines and kitchen equipment by the company.
From 1896 to 1962 the company was engaged in the production of bicycles, and in the period from 1903 to 1987 - production of motorcycles.
In the 1980s. the rights to Husqvarna motorcycles were sold to the Italian concern Cagiva (now MV Agusta), and in 2007 resold to BMW.

In 1978, the Swedish engineering corporation Electrolux Group (one of the largest manufacturers of household and professional appliances) acquired the company.

In 1989, Husqvarna celebrated its 300th anniversary.
By the early 1990s. the company has become one of the leaders in the market for gardening equipment, forestry and agricultural equipment.
In 1995, the Husqvarna brand launched the world's first solar-powered robotic lawnmower, further confirming the company's innovative status.
In 2006, Husqvarna left the Electrolux Group. The new owners of the company decided to enter the construction equipment market by opening a corresponding direction and acquired the Japanese company Komatsu Zenoah in 2006.
In the same year, Flymo and Partner, well-known manufacturers of garden equipment from Great Britain and Sweden, became part of the Husqvarna group.
In 2007, the well-known German company Gardena was acquired, which specializes in the production of products for the garden and vegetable garden, including irrigation systems.
By 2011, 6 million chain saws had already been produced.
Today the Husqvarna group is the world leader in the production of equipment for the garden, forest, agriculture, and construction.
The dealer network of the company numbers about 20,000 companies in more than 100 countries of the world and is constantly expanding.
